Coaching is not psychotherapy. We don't work on your past. Our role is to be "in the present" and move you forward, so you can focus on your future. At YOUR AUTISM COACH, coaching is a collaborative process and based on a partnership.
By listening, observing and questioning, we can help you gain different perspectives about yourself, your child and situation. Parents of autistic and special needs children constantly struggle with a diverse range of emotions including anger, denial, blame, guilt, envy, fear, depression and acceptance. We also offer a lot of understanding, compassion and support during our telephone sessions.
Coaching helps clarify your thoughts and feelings, so you can discover the answers to your unique situation. We can help identify and resolve issues and concerns that are preventing or "blocking" you from making positive and significant changes in your life and that of your child.
